Job Title: Postal Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Postal Clerk. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing mail and packages, and maintaining a high level of postal products and services knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process mail and packages, including sorting, sequencing, and batching.
  • Maintain a high level of postal products and services knowledge, including rates, services, and promotions.
  • Operate a computer point of sale system to process transactions and manage inventory.
  • Conduct merchandizing and inventory control to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked retail environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 22.7 kilograms (50 lbs) and stand for long periods of time.
