Job Summary

Canada Post Corp is seeking a highly motivated and flexible Postal Clerk to join our team. As a Postal Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing mail and packages, and maintaining a high level of postal products and services knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Operate a computer point of sale system to process transactions
  • Maintain floor displays and conduct merchandizing and inventory control
  • Process financial transactions, including cash, cheques, debit and credit card payments
  • Receive, sort, sequence and batch mail items
  • Operate mail processing equipment, including clearing jams and removing mail from sorting machines
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service in a retail environment
  • Sales experience is an asset
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for up to 3.5 hours at a time and lift up to 22.7 kilograms (50 lbs)
