Lead a High-Performing Inventory Control Team at McKesson Canada Corporation

McKesson Canada Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Inventory Control Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory control operations, ensuring accuracy, and driving continuous improvement within your team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to optimize inventory control processes across all areas of operation.
  • Coordinate the placement and maintenance of accurate inventory records, ensuring seamless flow of goods throughout the distribution network.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and generate comprehensive reports to monitor stock levels and identify potential discrepancies.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient movement of products within our facilities.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Manage inventory output to enhance productivity and minimize waste, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
  • Supervise cycle counts and manage the process for filing claims related to defective products.
  • Foster strong communication and coordination with other business units to ensure seamless operations across all departments.
  • Maintain meticulous records of date-sensitive products, ensuring adherence to expiration dates and implementing appropriate handling procedures.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience within a unionized environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in inventory control and management.
  • Experience with automation systems is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate your team.
  • A strong commitment to aligning with McKesson Canada Corporation's vision and fostering employee development within your team.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
