About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at SINGH'S CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning as necessary.
  • Install Flooring Materials: Measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to ensure a precise and professional finish.
  • Conduct Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all installations meet our high standards and client expectations.
  • Estimate and Order Materials: Estimate the quantity of materials required for each installation and order them as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure that all installations are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy materials, and stand for long periods.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required.
