Medical Imaging Specialist

RhynoCare is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled CT technician to join our team. As a CT technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images for physicians through CT scanning. Your duties will include following physicians' instructions, explaining procedures to patients, selecting software options and imaging parameters, viewing images, and maintaining records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The CT technician will be responsible for producing radiographs and computed tomography images, storing images, and recording them as required. They will complete examinations requested by medical staff in accordance with procedures and assist the radiologist in performing procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The technician must maintain technical competence and be eligible for a CMRITO license by spring 2025.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, photographic techniques, pathology, and record-keeping. They must be able to use varied X-Ray and ancillary equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images. The candidate should also have effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent patient care.
Working Conditions:
The CT technician will be required to work all shifts on short notice, take stand-by call, and be on site within 30 minutes. They must be able to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
The salary for this position is $45 - $55 per hour, depending on experience.
