Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

The Customer Experience Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing our dynamic Retail Service teams. At Scotiabank, our primary focus is on our customers, ensuring we assist them in reaching their financial aspirations.

We seek a motivated and passionate individual to lead and mentor our Customer Experience Associates while embodying Scotiabank's core values and culture.

  • Oversee and guide a team of Customer Experience Associates and Senior Customer Experience Associates.
  • Foster robust customer relationships and deliver outstanding service.
  • Act as the Officer in Charge (OIC) for the branch as necessary, addressing emergencies and customer escalations.
  • Contribute to the branch's overall success by identifying ways to enhance the customer experience.
  • Serve as a change management leader by facilitating the implementation of new policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership abilities, with a talent for coaching and developing team members.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Prior experience in team management, including coaching, leading, and scheduling, is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours.
  • Experience in the banking sector is a significant asset.
  • Technical proficiency, with the ability to promote and demonstrate digital/self-service banking options.
