Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our team in the Alliston area. As a Personal Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing supportive care to residents in a long-term care facility. This is a full-time or part-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing excellent care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Supportive Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Observe and Report Changes: Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • Follow Care Plans: Implement care plans developed by the nursing team to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
  • Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of residents' personal and medical information.
  • Participate in Staff Development: Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
