Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Personal Support Worker to join our team at ComForCare North Simcoe in Barrie. As a PSW, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to our clients in a retirement facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises using assistive devices.
  • Support with toileting and incontinence care, meal planning, and preparation.
  • Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
  • Perform homemaking tasks, including light housekeeping, dusting, and laundry.
  • Document client care and medication reminders as per agency policy.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a PSW certificate course.
  • At least six months of experience as a PSW in a community care setting.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • The ability to obtain a vulnerable sector check acceptable to ComForCare North Simcoe.
