Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Grand Falls Agromart Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using GPS equipment and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

As a Truck Driver at Grand Falls Agromart Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work overtime and perform repetitive tasks, but you will also have the opportunity to work independently and make decisions about your route and schedule.
