Position Overview

As a key member of the Gas Bar team, reporting directly to the Gas Bar Manager, your role encompasses a variety of essential responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor while at work.
  • Maintain reliability for all scheduled shifts.
  • Manage the ordering, receiving, pricing, and displaying of merchandise as directed by the Gas Bar Manager.
  • Possess a solid understanding of all point-of-sale operations, including back-office functions.
  • Ensure a tidy, clean, and organized environment is upheld consistently.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives for the location.
  • Support the manager in supervising and training team members.
  • Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Provide assistance at the pump island as needed.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations and generate reports as required.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently.
  • Handle administrative tasks as assigned by the Gas Bar Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of supervisory experience in a retail environment or equivalent.
  • Completion of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Customer service orientation is essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Note: A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
