Director of Events

The Lazaridis Students' Society is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Director of Events. This position will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of all events for the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the VPs of Events in planning and coordination of events, including securing venues, managing timelines, and allocating resources.
  • Support Executives in booking vendors, arranging equipment, and overseeing event execution.
  • Provide recommendations to Club Presidents and VPs on strategies for maximizing attendance and enhancing the overall event experience.
  • Ensure post-event documentation is collected, including feedback and reports.
  • Participate in bi-weekly portfolio and bi-weekly full team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Effective organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to manage timelines effectively and remain committed throughout the term.
  • Personable with strong attention to detail.
