About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at 1955753 Alberta Inc. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Workflow Management: Assist with scheduling and workflow management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies, and ensure timely ordering and restocking.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Collection Area Maintenance: Prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are easily accessible and well-maintained.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Supervision: Provide support to 1-2 team members, ensuring that they have the resources and guidance they need to succeed.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, a team player attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience: Possess 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and inventory management.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.
  • Work Hours: Work 35 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the pharmacy.
