Position Overview:

Join MyHealth Centre as a Medical Radiation Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in patient care and medical imaging. This is a permanent position with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of a college diploma or equivalent program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
Work Environment:

Our facility operates in a private clinic setting, with opportunities for relocation. You may also work in various medical facilities or clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate procedures effectively to patients.
  • Operate diverse medical imaging devices, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography equipment.
  • Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals as required.
  • Provide training and support to fellow staff members.
  • Document and process imaging results accurately.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
  • Deliver compassionate patient care during examinations.
Licensing Requirements:

Candidates must possess certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
