Join MyHealth Centre as a Medical Radiation Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in patient care and medical imaging. This is a permanent position with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:- Education: Completion of a college diploma or equivalent program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
Our facility operates in a private clinic setting, with opportunities for relocation. You may also work in various medical facilities or clinics.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate procedures effectively to patients.
- Operate diverse medical imaging devices, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography equipment.
- Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals as required.
- Provide training and support to fellow staff members.
- Document and process imaging results accurately.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
- Deliver compassionate patient care during examinations.
Candidates must possess certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
