Radiological Technologist

We are seeking highly skilled Radiological Technologists to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Radiological Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while continuously remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Radiological Technology, Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification, and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure. Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset, as is Basic Life Support Certification. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are also an asset.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including hourly rates ranging from $30.83 to $37.54 for Radiological Technologists and $34.24 to $39.96 for CT Technologists, MRI Technologists, and Nuclear Medicine Technologists. Successful candidates may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
