Your Role at Baxter
As a Filling Operator, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the quality and safety of our life-sustaining products. You will be responsible for performing various duties on a rotating basis, including visual inspection of IV bag assemblies, filling IV solution in various bag sizes, and loading bags onto sterilizer trays.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of IV bag assemblies to ensure proper fill volume, air volume, code number, expiration date, lot number, and other quality characteristics.
- Fill IV solution in various bag sizes and place bags into protective over-wrap.
- Load over-wrapped bags into sealing machines and load sealed over-wrapped assemblies onto sterilizer trucks.
- Perform necessary inspections, including quality checks, throughout each step-in process.
- Document count of rejects and rework bags when necessary.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must pass ergonomic assessment to ensure ability to perform essential job duties.
- Experience doing repetitive tasks and manufacturing/quality experience in a GMP environment.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an assembly line setting.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting with a focus on quality assurance and attention to detail.
