Your Role at Baxter
As a Filling Operator, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for performing various duties on a rotating basis, including visual inspection of IV bag assembly, filling IV solution in various bag sizes, and loading bags onto sterilizer trays.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual inspection of IV bag assembly to ensure proper fill volume, air volume, code number, expiration date, lot number, and other quality characteristics.
- Filling IV solution in various bag sizes and placing bags into protective over-wrap.
- Loading bags onto sterilizer trays and ensuring proper number of samples and positioning.
- Performing necessary inspections, including quality checks throughout each step-in process.
- Documenting count of rejects and reworking bags when necessary.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must pass ergonomic assessment to ensure ability to perform essential job duties.
- Experience doing repetitive tasks and manufacturing/quality experience in a GMP environment.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting with a focus on quality assurance and attention to detail.
