About the Role

E.B. Horsman & Son is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at our Parksville branch location. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments and receipts.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school completion.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to learn new software programs.
  • Basic mathematical skills with the ability to calculate simple equations mentally.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/move for 6+ hours per day.
  • Forklift license.
  • Ability to be inclusive, collaborative, and respectful.
