We are seeking a skilled Building Science Specialist to become a part of our team in Ontario. The successful applicant will be situated in one of Pinchin's Greater Toronto Area offices and will oversee building science assessments, devise remediation plans, perform inspections, and deliver reporting services. Additionally, they will provide asset management services, including property condition evaluations and due diligence assessments for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage building science initiatives.
- Execute on-site evaluations and develop remediation plans.
- Draft detailed technical reports.
- Collaborate with teams to implement effective solutions.
- Offer asset management services.
- Foster client relationships.
- Remain informed about industry developments.
- Effectively lead project teams.
- Tackle building science challenges.
- Represent the organization with professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-year Engineering Technology diploma.
- 5 years of experience in construction management.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations and codes.
- Experience in contract management.
- Technical expertise in construction and building technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in software and project management tools.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License.
- Willingness to work outside standard hours.
