Position Overview

The role of the **Restaurant Manager** at Tut's Egyptian Street Food involves overseeing daily operations to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Define the range of services offered and establish effective operational protocols.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage cash flow and prepare financial statements, including cash reports and balance sheets.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments of staff performance.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain stock levels to ensure availability of supplies.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the establishment.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Engage with suppliers to secure favorable terms for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Client Relations: Negotiate with clients regarding catering services and facility usage.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Leadership: Guide and instruct team members effectively.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
