We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experimental Physicist to join our Processor Development team at D-Wave Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge quantum computing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute experimental procedures to characterize and optimize superconducting devices
- Design and implement novel devices and device enhancements to improve processor performance
- Develop theoretical models and simulations to represent and understand experimental results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test quantum computing systems
- Communicate and document experimental results and findings to the broader team
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Physics or a related field
- Strong critical thinking and technical problem-solving skills
