The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist will be instrumental in guiding the deployment of a new engineering document management system for a global client, as part of a long-term initiative. With at least 8 years of proven experience in OCM, the ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of change management at the project level, especially within complex organizational frameworks, particularly in the realm of enterprise-wide technology implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

OCM Communication: Craft and deliver customized messaging for distinct stakeholder groups to ensure transparency and engagement throughout the project.

Stakeholder Impact and Readiness: Perform assessments to gauge both impact and readiness, utilizing surveys and touchpoints to evaluate stakeholder preparedness and adjust strategies as needed.

Training Development and Execution: Implement OCM methodologies to develop training plans, organize training curricula, and manage logistics and materials. Create a variety of training resources, including communications, SharePoint sites, videos, quick reference guides (QRG), and live online sessions.

Documentation: Generate thorough documentation of training processes and communication strategies. Ensure all materials are current and easily accessible.

Change Champion Network: Assist in establishing and overseeing a network of change champions to facilitate smoother transitions, produce change champion communication materials, and collect feedback.

Issue Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify potential challenges, communicate them to relevant stakeholders, and propose solutions or escalate as necessary.

Project Support: Provide continuous support to the project team, including business analysis, UAT script development, training video creation, and ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of OCM Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in organizational change management, with a strong emphasis on project-level OCM in large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Document Management Systems: Solid grasp of engineering document management systems and associated technologies.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Office 365 and other relevant tools. Experience with Hexagon SDx software is advantageous.
  • Training Development: Proven capability to create diverse training materials, including videos, QRG, PowerPoint presentations, and live online surveys.
  • Certifications: PROSCI certification is beneficial. CBAP certification is a plus.
  • Industry Insight: Experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly in asset information management and document control, is highly desirable.
  • Business Analysis Skills: Strong abilities in business analysis, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Expected to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues while ensuring effective organizational change management throughout the project.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary for client workshops.
