Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of the finance team, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning processes and conducting detailed analyses to inform strategic decision-making. This role is essential in driving financial initiatives that support our Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Provide insights to internal business partners and executives regarding the financial implications of new initiatives, fostering alignment with corporate goals.
  • Prepare and manage monthly business review packages, which include key performance indicators (KPIs), departmental financial performance evaluations, and the development of cost control strategies aimed at optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to facilitate long-term planning, scenario analysis, and strategic investment decisions.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to senior management and promoting accountability among business partners.
  • Create executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex financial information to operations teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of supporting multiple business partners.
  • Experience in the airline or transportation sector is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques, with a focus on operational impact.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management, PowerBI, and other enterprise-level ERP or business information systems.
