Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Reliability Engineer to join our team at International Paper. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in electrical systems reliability and maintenance, with a focus on improving equipment performance and reducing downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) investigations to identify and address electrical equipment failures.
  • Develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems.
  • Lead the development of reliability standards and practices for electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement reliability improvement projects.
  • Provide technical support for electrical system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for electrical system maintenance and repair procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and reliability.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • P-Eng designation or actively working towards P-Eng designation.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Experience with electrical system modeling software.
