Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of culinary staff to prepare and present food to the highest standards
- Assist the Sous Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
Requirements
- Proven experience in a high-volume culinary kitchen, with a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Food Safe Certificate and previous supervisory experience are assets
