Position: Route to Market ManagerTravel Requirement: 50% travel
Role Overview: This position is dedicated to overseeing and driving comprehensive Route to Market (RTM) processes and initiatives. Responsibilities include formulating RTM strategies, crafting effective RTM plans, and developing metrics dashboards to assess distributor performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate RTM strategies tailored to various market models to align sales and distribution with corporate objectives.
- Design and implement optimized RTM strategies that encompass both urban and rural approaches to maximize market potential.
- Create RTM plans that enhance sales efficiency, improve route planning, and support our Right Store initiatives while evaluating distributor performance.
- Engage in the Business Planning Process and provide monthly sales forecasts by brand and SKU.
- Develop and maintain RTM metrics dashboards to monitor distributor performance.
- Achieve the route-to-market team's KPIs and annual goals through data-driven insights.
- Deliver on-the-job sales training to distributor sales teams with ongoing assessments.
- Manage the Right Store strategy by defining optimal parameters for complex route-to-market scenarios involving distributors and sales representatives.
- Enhance route-to-market parameters for improved performance.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Route-to-Market, Channel Strategy, or Business Development, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
- Strong understanding of trade dynamics, data analytics, category management, and consumer insights.
- Exceptional analytical and logical thinking abilities, with strong planning and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in analytical tools, data visualization, and technology.
