Lenovo is seeking a highly skilled Transition Management Team Lead to join our Advanced Delivery Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading regional transition programs and ensuring seamless transitions from initial sales to recurring Lenovo Managed Services or DaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Transition Program Leadership: Lead regional transition programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor the regional transition team, ensuring all transition activities meet governance and documentation standards.
- Project Oversight: Provide oversight on regional projects, serving as the project lead on large-scale implementations.
- Resource Planning: Conduct resource planning to support both pre-sales and active transition engagements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with an IT focus.
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in information technology and business environments.
- Transition Management Expertise: Deep understanding of Transition Management principles and best practices.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
- Communication Skills: Experience acting as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders, with strong communication skills to engage both groups effectively.
- Project Management Skills: Extensive experience in full life-cycle project management, from requirements gathering through to roll-out.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills with a focus on delivering large-scale projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Project, Visio, and Excel.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to work effectively in a virtual team across different cultures, time zones, and reporting lines, with willingness to travel up to 20%.
