Salary: Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience, with a range of $50,231 - $59,095 per annum. Additional benefits include a furnished on-campus apartment, parking, and meal plan.

Responsibilities:
Acadia University is seeking a Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) to foster an inclusive and supportive Residence Life program that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, and overall wellness for students residing on campus.
The RLC plays a vital role in enhancing student development by ensuring a safe, comfortable, and diverse living environment that encourages both academic success and personal development.
Ideal candidates will possess a genuine commitment to the academic and personal advancement of students, with an understanding of the significance of residence life traditions at Acadia University. RLCs will also engage in university-wide recruitment and retention initiatives.
The selected candidate will be required to reside on campus within a university residence and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree coupled with relevant work experience is required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to address concerns and situations professionally and diplomatically.
- Demonstrated interest in the academic and personal development of students, as well as an understanding of student development principles, is necessary.
- Experience in training and supervising staff teams, particularly young adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, is essential.
- Availability for on-call duties at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
- Evidence of a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and fostering a respectful and collegial learning and working environment is expected.
