Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Weld Reliability Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our welds.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
  2. Operate specialized equipment to perform weld inspections and testing.
  3. Report non-conforming parts and initiate corrective action.
  4. Collaborate with quality auditors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  5. Perform weld inspections for studies, tip studies, and consumable trials.
  6. Understand and apply PPAP principles.
  7. Conduct correlation studies between destructive and non-destructive testing.
  8. Apply sound technical understanding of weld quality standards.
  9. Use ultrasonic weld inspection testers.
  10. Perform annual layout inspections and reporting.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience inspecting and testing welds.
  3. Computer proficiency required.
  4. Ability to understand and follow direction.
  5. Be able to perform plasma cutting and use a push-out machine.
  6. Be able to use the Jaws of Life and other specialized equipment.
  7. Must be able to work independently.
