Position Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner Internship is under the supervision of the Vice-President of Operations. This role is pivotal in providing essential Human Resources services, particularly in recruitment, employee engagement, and professional development, all while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.

This position plays a crucial role in the formulation of human resources programs, projects, and unique initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer support to staff regarding human resources matters, including policies, staffing, and career progression.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment and selection process, from job descriptions to interview protocols, reference checks, and contract issuance, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate HR functions such as onboarding and employee exits, including necessary documentation and communication.
  • Lead talent management strategies, including the design, execution, and assessment of training programs.
  • Develop, implement, and assess HR initiatives for compliance and ongoing enhancement.
  • Review and enforce relevant employment legislation to ensure adherence.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams or special projects as required, collaborating effectively with colleagues across various departments.
  • Manage and oversee the annual performance evaluation process.
  • Innovate and implement engaging HR strategies to position DS as a preferred employer and attract top talent.
  • Champion internship initiatives through various activities.
Qualifications
  • A University degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
  • CHRP or CRHA designation is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience across different Human Resources functions.
  • Experience in HR Planning and drafting internal communications.
  • Experience in a professional services environment is a plus.
