Job Summary:

Accoravillage is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial administrative and analytical support to our operations management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, analyze, reconcile, and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including costing, inventory, yields, labor, and expense reports, in accordance with established corporate standards and requirements.
  2. New Product Set-up: Administer the new product set-up process within our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and reporting.
  3. Process Improvement: Assist and support plant management on various initiatives, ensuring ongoing analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
  4. Variance Analysis: Support plant management in the analysis of variances between actual costs occurring at the plant and standard costs, variances related to finished goods, products, and raw materials.
  5. Journal Entries and Reconciliations: Complete production-related journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end analysis. Assist with product and raw material counts and audits.
  6. ERP Maintenance: Maintain bill of materials (BOMs)/standard instructions and product costings in our ERP system.
  7. Support and Relief: Provide backup support and relief to the finance team and assist with other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. A diploma/degree in accounting/finance, with a pursuing accounting designation (CPA).
  2. 2 years of accounting and cost reconciliation experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of financial/operational ERP systems preferably AS400.
  3. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, with intermediate to expert knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables/formulas/linkage).
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
