Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Calgary Granite & Marble (2008) Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for building pallets, loading and unloading products and materials, and operating various equipment to move materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build pallets and prepare materials for shipment
  • Load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products
  • Ship orders and pick products from stock
  • Wrap goods and pack products for shipping
  • Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods to customers
Work Environment

As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train on the job
  • Adaptability, analytical skills, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Time management and organizational skills
