Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Calgary Granite & Marble (2008) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building pallets, loading and unloading products and materials, and operating various equipment to move materials and products. They will also be responsible for shipping orders, picking orders and stock, wrapping goods, packing and unpacking goods, storing cargo and materials, and transporting and distributing materials and goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build pallets and load/unload products and materials
  • Operate various equipment to move materials and products
  • Ship orders and pick orders and stock
  • Wrap goods and pack/unpack goods
  • Store cargo and materials and transport and distribute materials and goods
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and physically demanding work. They will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a candidate who is adaptable, analytical, collaborative, creative, efficient, energetic, goal-oriented, hardworking, and reliable. They should have a positive attitude, be a quick learner, and have good time management skills.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week in a permanent position with English as the primary language.
