About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Vendor Risk Management Specialist to join our Security and Compliance team at Sports & Arts Summer Camps. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us operate and mature our cybersecurity – vendor risk management (CS-VRM) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess inherent and residual risk associated with vendors providing services to our organization.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and project teams to negotiate vendor contracts.
  • Manage CS-VRM service provider(s) performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements to mature the CS-VRM program.
  • Enhance the CS-VRM governance model (e.g. policies, processes, KPIs).
  • Report to management on CS-VRM risk levels.
  • Work cooperatively with all stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Provide intellectual thought leadership and creative solutions to problems.
Requirements
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an information security role.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience managing or interacting with vendors (service providers).
  • Previous CS-VRM experience is an asset.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with information security industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with service organization audit standards (e.g., SOC 2) and reports.
  • Ability to understand and interpret penetration test reports.
