We are a full-service, high-volume mortgage brokerage located in Edmonton, Alberta, dedicated to providing quality training, support, and industry-leading business and lead generation tools.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Time RECA licensed mortgage associate to join our team. As a mortgage associate, you will be responsible for proactively marketing yourself to your network, calling on new prospects and mortgage renewals to establish and maintain relationships, and ensuring all mortgage files are closed efficiently and within required deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively market yourself to your network
  • Proactively call on new prospects and mortgage renewals to establish and maintain relationships
  • Ensure all mortgage files are closed efficiently and within required deadlines
  • Meet clients at their convenience to discuss their mortgage goals
  • Attend brokerage meetings and training regularly
  • Market initiatives as needed, including social media posts, organizing and attending meetings, public speaking, attending events, etc.
  • Stay up to date on latest mortgage products, rates, policy changes, etc.
  • Data entry
  • Responsible for all fulfillment duties required for pre, interim and post-closing of mortgage files
  • Completion/enrolment of Mortgage Associate Licensing through RECA
Requirements
  • Have some level of understanding of mortgage lending, and credit
  • High level of fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in-person
  • Experience with CRM systems and other marketing tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in other languages would be an asset
