About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at ALUGARD LTD. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and control the execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Establish and manage budgets for engineering projects, ensuring that costs are controlled and expenses are minimized.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for engineering work, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of reports and analysis of data to inform business decisions and improve engineering processes.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and suppliers, to ensure that engineering projects are delivered to the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Manufacturing environment.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $100,001 - $500,000.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Area of Work Experience: Project management.
  • Area of Specialization: Electrical engineering.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and large workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, team player, adaptability, and work term: permanent.
Language and Work Hours

English is the primary language of communication, and the work hours are 30 hours per week.
