Position Overview

On-site | Full-time | Entry Level

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with a Senior Account Manager and other team members to support various client service initiatives. Adherence to safety protocols as outlined in the ALS Health and Safety Program is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough checks for all incoming files, ensuring accuracy in account details, client contacts, sample identifications, and job references;
  • Update and manage login qualifiers on work orders;
  • Maintain and create detailed account notes;
  • Track and manage lost, missing, archived, or on-hold samples;
  • Assist with invoicing processes, including corrections and monthly billing;
  • Prepare and enter client bottle requests for shipping;
  • Organize and file client information efficiently;
  • Update and maintain client account details, including contacts and addresses;
  • Confirm shipping statuses for both outgoing and incoming shipments;
  • Process information requests from clients;
  • Coordinate sublet tests, ensuring accurate data entry and report integration;
  • Perform data entry for client-provided parameters;
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating due lists for Account Managers;
  • Review data statuses, including rush and recheck items;
  • Support Sample Login/Layout as needed;
  • Aid in Sample Reception as required;
  • Follow established procedures to ensure quality and safety standards;
  • Comply with all ALS health and safety policies and regulations;
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Positive, energetic attitude;
  • Proven time management abilities;
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in an environmental laboratory setting is advantageous;
  • Comprehensive training will be provided.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods;
  • Capability to perform general office tasks, including sitting at a desk.
