Position Overview
On-site | Full-time | Entry Level
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with a Senior Account Manager and other team members to support various client service initiatives. Adherence to safety protocols as outlined in the ALS Health and Safety Program is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough checks for all incoming files, ensuring accuracy in account details, client contacts, sample identifications, and job references;
- Update and manage login qualifiers on work orders;
- Maintain and create detailed account notes;
- Track and manage lost, missing, archived, or on-hold samples;
- Assist with invoicing processes, including corrections and monthly billing;
- Prepare and enter client bottle requests for shipping;
- Organize and file client information efficiently;
- Update and maintain client account details, including contacts and addresses;
- Confirm shipping statuses for both outgoing and incoming shipments;
- Process information requests from clients;
- Coordinate sublet tests, ensuring accurate data entry and report integration;
- Perform data entry for client-provided parameters;
- Assist in preparing and coordinating due lists for Account Managers;
- Review data statuses, including rush and recheck items;
- Support Sample Login/Layout as needed;
- Aid in Sample Reception as required;
- Follow established procedures to ensure quality and safety standards;
- Comply with all ALS health and safety policies and regulations;
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Positive, energetic attitude;
- Proven time management abilities;
- Capability to work effectively under pressure;
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Previous experience in an environmental laboratory setting is advantageous;
- Comprehensive training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods;
- Capability to perform general office tasks, including sitting at a desk.
