ROLE SUMMARY

The Project Site Coordinator will provide support to the Project Manager in the efficient management of the site office duties. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, project files, report generation, project correspondence, and meeting minutes. This role requires excellent time management and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to deliver results per timelines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Assist the Project Manager with overall project management, including coordinating schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with sub-trades, suppliers, consultants, and the BLDG department.
  3. Manage the change order process, including pricing, negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact.
  4. Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  5. Administer RFI and shop drawing process.
  6. Maintain contractual responsibilities with subcontractors.
  7. Be involved in all facets of project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
  8. Oversight of health & safety standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A minimum of Grade 12 education is required, with experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry in a similar role being an asset. Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role is required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • The ability to prepare and interpret schedules and step-by-step action plans.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Cost estimating and quantity takeoff.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter, highly motivated and organized, with the ability to take initiatives to make improvements.
  • The ability to collaborate with the team.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with multiple platforms and operating systems such as Gsuite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and experience with Procore Project Management platform strongly desired.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
