About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Velocity Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead a Team
    • Direct and coordinate the activities of a team of drywall installers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Drywall Installation and Finishing
    • Install and finish drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even surface.
    • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a seamless finish.
  • Surface Preparation and Repair
    • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation.
    • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Project Management
    • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications.
    • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Inspect drywall installations to ensure quality and accuracy.
    • Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution.
