Job Title: Behavioural Specialist

The Government of Manitoba is seeking a Behavioural Specialist to join our team in the Department of Families, Disability Programs and Specialized Services, Community Service Delivery. As a Behavioural Specialist, you will provide clinical psychological/behavioural services to referred children, adolescents and adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a broad range of clinical psychological/behavioural services to referred individuals
  • Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify individual needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services
  • Provide public education and consultation to community groups and agencies
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Psychology (Clinical, Applied Behaviour Analysis or School) from an accredited graduate program
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or special needs
  • Experience providing clinical/behavioural intervention to children, adolescents, and/or adults
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
