Job Title: Intermediate Civil Engineer - Transit

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering projects, including site grading, track grading, roadway design, and watermain systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop civil engineering designs for various projects using digital design software such as Civil 3D.
  • Contribute to the preparation of civil deliverables, drawings, and details from conception to final design.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and designers to develop detailed drawings, quantities, and supporting documents.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
  • Maintain contact with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, and clients.
  • Prepare reports and contract documents for review agencies, clients, and the public.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Ontario designation required (or eligible).
  • Proven record of site grading, site servicing, drainage, and access road design using Civil 3D software.
  • Experience with corridor and pipe network module in Civil 3D is an asset.
  • Superior attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software such as Navisworks, Dynamo, and REVIT.
