Job Title: Intermediate Civil Engineer - Transit

We're seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing transportation projects, including site grading, track grading, roadway design, and watermain systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop civil engineering designs for transportation projects using Civil 3D software.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and designers to develop detailed drawings, quantities, and supporting documents.
  • Review and prepare models and drawings to ensure standards compliance and discipline coordination.
  • Communicate with civil leads, designers, and project team members to ensure effective and timely flow of project information.
  • Maintain contact with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, and clients.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Ontario designation required (or eligible).
  • Proven record of site grading, site servicing, drainage, and access road design using Civil 3D software.
  • Experience with corridor and pipe network module in Civil 3D.
