About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Export Sales Representative to join our team at UNIQUE FINE FABRICS IMPORT INC. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Solicit Potential Clients

You will be responsible for identifying potential clients and soliciting their interest in our products or services. This will involve researching potential clients, making initial contact, and following up to build relationships.

Consult with Clients after Sale

After a sale has been made, you will be responsible for consulting with the client to provide ongoing support and ensure their satisfaction with our products or services.

Promote Sales to Existing Clients

You will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales.

Represent Companies that Export and Import Products or Services

You will be responsible for representing companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales.

Estimate or Quote Prices, Credit or Contract Terms, Warranties and Delivery Dates

You will be responsible for estimating or quoting prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates for our products or services.

Review and Adapt Information Regarding Product Innovations, Competitors and Market Conditions

You will be responsible for reviewing and adapting information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions to ensure our products or services remain competitive in the market.

Conduct Sales Transactions through Internet-based Electronic Commerce

You will be responsible for conducting sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce, including processing orders and managing customer relationships.

Provide Clients with Presentations on the Benefits and Uses of Goods or Services

You will be responsible for providing clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of our goods or services, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales.

Requirements
  • Education

You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

You must have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

You will be working in an urban area, specifically in the wholesalers industry.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

You must have knowledge of presentation software, electronic mail, and MS Office.

Security and Safety

You must undergo a criminal record check.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks, including a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Personal Suitability

You must have client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, team player, and creativity.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

You must participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, and provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
