Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Nextrux Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 driver's license, excellent driving skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Excellent driving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
