The Parking Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading the parking staff on duty, ensuring adherence to established parking policies, procedures, and service standards to safeguard the interests of all guests, employees, and organizational assets. This role involves collaboration with various departments, clients, event organizers, and emergency services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Parking Operations Supervisor will:

  • Supervise daily operations of the parking team.
  • Assign roles and designate work locations for staff.
  • Prepare operational reports and manage uniform distribution.
  • Coach and train staff on protocols and promptly address any disciplinary issues with management.
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor regulations.
  • Facilitate smooth traffic flow within the facility.
  • Enforce traffic regulations and issue parking citations as necessary.
  • Investigate incidents, resolve complaints, and compile data to propose effective solutions.
  • Monitor and document event capacity.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum age of nineteen (19) years.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • The ability to stand or walk for the entirety of their shift.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with a proven ability to inspire and guide team members.
  • Strong time management skills and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
  • Sound decision-making abilities.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to fulfill operational demands.
  • A valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check throughout employment.
