Job SummaryThe Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients and internal teams. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing training and guidance, and maintaining a problems and solutions log.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems, networks, and software
- Provide training and guidance to users on computer systems, software, and best practices
- Maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
- College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Internet, desktop applications, file management software, and MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
The Technical Support Specialist will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of in-person and remote work. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent time management and organizational skills.
