About the Role

We're seeking a Manager, Data Science, to join our growing team and contribute to designing, developing, and applying Machine Learning models. As a key member of our team, you'll help build the industry's best data science team by motivating and engaging specialists in an agile environment and supporting their career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team in designing, developing, and applying Machine Learning models.
  • Collaborate with partners across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases, and implement solutions.
  • Help build the industry's best data science team by keeping our specialists motivated and engaged in an agile environment and supporting their career growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' professional experience in an analytical and innovative environment, including at least two years in management or coaching.
  • Data science enthusiast with a background in a related field, including (but not limited to): Machine learning, Computer science, Software engineering, Physics, Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • Understanding of underlying Machine Learning theory and the Predictive Modeling Lifecycle.
  • Previous experience in insurance or finance is an asset.
  • Strong communication, time management, and work organization skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
