Job Title: Senior Research Equity Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Equity Strategist to join our Research Acceleration & Strategic Initiatives team at the University of Saskatchewan.

About the Role:

The Senior Research Equity Strategist will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives to enhance successful funding outcomes across the Canadian research landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EDI strategies to support research excellence and equity
  • Collaborate with researchers, research groups, and university stakeholders to promote EDI
  • Lead the development of EDI educational activities and training programs
  • Provide technical writing and editing support for research proposals and grant applications
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and research funding agencies
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A graduate degree in a relevant field, supplemented by at least five years' experience in an administrative research environment
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing EDI strategies and initiatives
  • Strong scholarly writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to respond to fluctuating workload demands
