Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring process within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers and the Sr. Coordinator, People & Culture to create, revise and post job descriptions on various platforms.
- Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate their qualifications and fit for the role.
- Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Negotiate job offers and support the onboarding process for new hires when applicable.
- Create, monitor and analyze recruitment reports and metrics to improve the effectiveness of the hiring process.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and passive candidates and other talent sources.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- 3+ years of previous experience in talent acquisition or recruitment is essential.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
- Strong understanding of various recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and best practices in candidate selection.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess candidate qualifications and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other HR technologies is often required.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment is important for success in this role.
