Position Summary
The Mobile Technician III plays a crucial role in overseeing facility operations, which includes managing mechanical and ancillary systems. This position entails conducting structured inspections, performing both preventative and corrective maintenance, and providing routine and on-demand services for facility mechanical equipment and other systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Troubleshooting: Identify and report on the condition of facility mechanical and electrical equipment, noting deficiencies and suggesting improvements.
2. Maintenance: Execute tasks in alignment with established protocols and regulations, ensuring compliance with all internal and external standards, including environmental, health and safety, and fire protection. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to uphold facility uptime and asset integrity. Respond to service requests promptly and perform necessary maintenance on mechanical systems.
3. Monitoring: Regularly assess the facility through walkthroughs to ensure optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and other systems.
4. Work Order Management: Oversee the lifecycle of work orders from initiation to completion, documenting resolutions in the service maintenance management database. Ensure all completed work meets quality standards and contractual obligations.
5. Preventative Maintenance Program: Assist in the implementation and management of the preventative maintenance program.

Qualifications
- High school diploma with relevant trades training and/or certification.
- Experience in providing maintenance for HVAC systems or pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of facility operations and maintenance practices.
- Proven ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and building systems.
- Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective data exchange and clarification.
- Willingness to work shifts and be available for on-call duties and emergency situations.
- Adherence to Health and Safety policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Professional accreditation such as Building Operator Certification or equivalent is necessary; Power Engineer certification is an asset.
