About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Experience Guide to join our team at Pursuit Collection. As a Guest Experience Guide, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive an exceptional experience, from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming experience
  • Ensure accurate information is provided to guests, setting clear expectations for their visit
  • Take and edit photos of guests, while being knowledgeable about our photo packages and backgrounds
  • Handle cash transactions, ticket sales, and other retail duties as required
  • Organize large groups of people into correct queues, while calculating and communicating accurate wait time information
  • Direct guests around the different areas of the attraction and assist them onto our iRide gondolas
  • Ensure all ride safety precautions are met, and inform the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns
  • Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol
  • Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency and follow emergency preparedness plans
  • Possess knowledge about Vancouver and other attractions
  • Be flexible and able to complete various tasks in different roles
Requirements
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary
  • Extensive knowledge about Vancouver and local area
  • Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry
  • Cash handling and public speaking experience preferred
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset
  • FoodSafe Level 1 certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Serving it Right certification equivalent is an asset
